The Eau Thermale Avène brand accompanies solidarity projects and shows its support daily by creating new partnerships. Scientific contributions, operational and financial support, therapeutic education tools, etc. These are just a few of the ways we show our solidarity.


The Eau Thermale Avène brand uses the skills of the non-profit organization HandiCapZéro to offer blind and visually impaired persons complete information about our range of skin care products. The brochure is available in braille and adapted characters on the website handicapzero.org. With this new partnership, Eau Thermale Avène makes it easy to access information and thus contributes to equal opportunity.


Association Ichtyose France (French Ichthyosis Association) (AIF)

The Eau Thermale Avène brand supports the approach led by the Avène Hydrotherapy Center by forging a partnership with the French Ichthyosis Association, which plays a major role in raising awareness of ichthyosis among the general public, the medical environment and public authorities. The Brand lends its support to initiatives led by this association, in order to encourage them to pursue their actions.


Association Française de l’Eczéma (French Eczema Association)

The Eau Thermale Avène brand is affiliated with the endeavors of the French Eczema Association by providing financial support. This partnership thus strengthens the Association's role, which consists in providing communication and information on one particular form of skin inflammation better known as "eczema" in order to lend its support to patients and their families and thereby contribute to improving their quality of life in collaboration with health professionals.


National day of skin cancer prevention and screening

The Eau Thermale Avène brand contributes to skin cancer screening programs in France and internationally. In France, the Brand is the historical partner of the French national dermatologist's association as part of the National Day of Skin Cancer Prevention and Screening, since the first edition in 1998. To date, over 225,000 patients have been screened.


Simultaneously, the Brand has made educational tools available (posters, brochures, etc) in order to encourage self-examination of the skin with early screening.

Belle et Bien

The Eau Thermale Avène brand works in collaboration with the "Belle et Bien" association to support women with cancer, helping them the desire to want to care for themselves again and regain confidence and self-esteem. All women can receive personalized advice during skin care and make-up workshops in order to rebuild a positive image of themselves.The "look good, feel better" program is now available in 25 countries.


Practical workshops and conferences

The Eau Thermale Avène brand, along with the Avène Hydrotherapy Center, organizes educational training and information workshops made for hydrotherapy patients and their families. With the objective of sharing information and experiences and improving quality of life.

  • Themed conferences:

    The Avène Hydrotherapy Center, in addition to hydrotherapy care, offers patients and the parents of child patients a program of conferences to help them better understand skin diseases (psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, etc.), various treatments, recommendations to reduce anxiety, stress, etc.

  • Medical make-up workshop:

    The Avène Hydrotherapy Center has a specialist available to teach both men and women the best use of specific techniques to conceal imperfections on the face and body, no matter the skin condition. Simple steps to feel good about your skin again and to regain self confidence.     • Hygiene and Hydration: Recommendations for the right steps to take to care for skin daily
    • Alternative to scratching: Recommendations to prevent and calm itching and thus break the vicious circle of scratching
    • Relaxation: Simple, easily reproducible techniques to learn to relax and evacuate stress daily.
  • Educational tools:

    The Avène Hydrotherapy Center as part of each workshop, provides patients with educational brochures that allow them to practice the right methods at home.

Foundation for Atopic Dermatitis

The Eau Thermale Avène brand is a founding member of the Foundation for Atopic Dermatitis which has several missions: To finance and support research, to design and implement educational tools and initiatives, to create and distribute information tools.


Skin Cancer Foundation

The Eau Thermale Avène brand is affiliated with the Skin Cancer Foundation, whose fight against skin cancer is based on better education, early detection and rapid and effective treatment. The SCF recommends the High protection Tinted compact SPF 50 because it has been proven to protect the skin safely, and to help prevent sun-induced damage.
