First time self tanning product user with no knowledge other than the info on this product page. Product is hydrating even in Canadian winter; I applied just like another body lotion and it goes on evenly, very important for novice like me; it has a very typical Avene Sun product fragrance which I enjoy. I used it all over my body and have not noticed colour transfer to clothes or bedsheets. However the palm of my hands are now a couple of shades darker because i follow the instruction closely like a dumb dumb: spreading the product on the palms of my hand and rub onto skins. It is a quick fix but I think avene could come up with better instructions. On the plus side I know the colour works for sure, and an significant colour change is too orange for my Asian yellow skin tone; however it looks natural for a subtle tan which it’s my goal anyways. So with some gloves I will continue to use this because it’s hassle free
It was the first time using a self-tanner and I had a great experience with this product! It's easy to apply, it's not greasy and it gives you great results from the first application. I recommend this if you need a natural looking tan during winter time.
Very good product- ideal to give a more colorful tone to your skin in these times of containment and lack of real sun. Positive: superb absorption, pleasant smell. Negative: you have to put a lot to make it really visible. The effect takes some time to be perceptible.
I am very disappointed with this product. I have never had that many patches/stripes when using a self-tan, the color is really orange and it stills smells 18hr after being applied.
Here are some tips: - Start by exfoliating your skin, concentrating on your knees, ankles and feet - On thicker areas (knees, ankles, feet, etc.), apply a bit of moisturizing lotion to dilute the self-tanner beforehand - Apply the self-tanner using broad gestures, alternating both hands and using the entire surface of your hands
The Moisturizing Self-Tanner gives a gradual tan as you apply it. You can stop using it as soon as you have achieved the desired shade. For maintenance, you can apply it every 3 days.
