3 CUSTOMIZED SKIN CARE ROUTINE IN CLEANANCE KITS
The Back-to-School period also means getting back into a routine. Speaking of routine, maybe it’s time for you to change your skin care routine for the new season? It’s true! The return to a busy schedule can be pretty stressful. Add to that the September rebound effect and you have a real nightmare for acne-prone skin.
Fortunately, anti-acne Cleanance kits are back in store just in time for Back-to-School! Especially designed to meet the needs of acne-prone skin, they contain products carefully selected by our experts to help you to say STOP to seasonal breakouts! Here is the three steps program...
STEP 1: Gently cleanse the skin
While some prefer a foaming product to be rinse-off, such as the Cleansing Gel, others will prefer a quick solution, such as the Micellar water, that can be used with a simple cotton pad. What’s most important to overcome acne is to be rigorous (morning and evening cleansing), choose soap-free products and to cleanse gently (using fingers) to avoid irritating the skin. Finally, for maximum skin-soothing, we recommend a fine mist of Avène Thermal Spring Water as the last step of the cleansing routine, mist and gently pat dry with a clean towel.
STEP 2: Treat according to the type of acne
The key product of your skin care program is the treatment. The Cleanance range offers products to treat all types of acne, whether juvenile or adult.
For oily or shiny skin, we recommend Cleanance MAT. For occasional pimples and blackheads, Cleanance EXPERT and for adult acne with a risk of acne scar, TriAcnéal EXPERT. Do not hesitate to seek advice from a healthcare professional, such as a cosmetician, a pharmacist or a dermatologist.
STEP 3: Complementary treatment
To complete your routine, 1 to 2 times per week, it is recommended to apply an exfoliating scrub mask such as Cleanance MASK. Take this time to relax or why not read-up on our expert acne advice!
