Give your face a boost

How can I give my face a boost or look less tired?

When you undergo cancer treatment, your complexion changes, your skin loses its glow. Medical make-up can be applied for a “healthy glow” effect, as well as to mask redness, scarring* and dark circles under the eyes, or to reshape your eyebrows.

I struggled to look in the mirror and I didn’t want my children to see me like that. I decided to wear a wig and to pencil on my eyebrows. During my Avène hydrotherapy treatment, the make-up workshop was of great help to me.

Our advice

  • 1- Mask the effects of your treatment by using a concealer
  • 2- Protect, correct and even out complexion
  • 3- Enhance face

Did you know?

  • Make-up is not just for women. Men can also take advantage of its masking properties, especially to hide acneiform eruptions. A little bit of corrector to be dabbed on locally with a make-up sponge, and your lesions are concealed.
  • Use pink powder to reduce signs of fatigue.
  • As a preventive measure, we recommend that you redraw the shape of your eyebrows before any potential hair loss: that way, you’ll get to know their shape.
  • Make-up can be used on both the face and body to mask any imperfections.
