        A spray is used when you have skin irritation subject to maceration (wet areas, skin folds, nappy rash, etc.). It’s important to dry out these areas, as maceration can be detrimental to proper skin restoration. Whereas a healing cream is used on dry skin irritation.

        Cicalfate+ Spray does not replace an antiseptic product. However, it can be used to help dry out chickenpox spots in addition to an antiseptic treatment. Spray twice a day on the spots. In addition, the Cicalfate+ Absorbing Soothing Spray is soothing because it contains a high amount of Avène Thermal Spring Water.
        Remember that there are additional tips for soothing discomfort, such as cold packs that can be applied to irritated areas. Or keep your hands busy, for example with stress balls or by doing hobbies and crafts. 

        We recommend that you use Cicalfate+ Absorbing Soothing Spray until the discomfort has dried out. Then take over with Cicalfate+ Restorativeg Protective Cream.
